By remitting payment for an invoice issued by Buckhead Auto Rentals LLC, you hereby acknowledge and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set forth on this page. This acknowledgment constitutes a binding agreement between the Renter and Buckhead Auto Rentals LLC. It is imperative that you review these terms and conditions thoroughly before completing your payment. Your act of payment shall serve as conclusive evidence of your acceptance of, and agreement to, all such terms, conditions, policies, and provisions herein. If you do not agree with any part of these terms and conditions, you must refrain from making the payment and contact us immediately for clarification. You also agree to have your rental invoice and receipts for every reservation and rental completed by you emailed to you rather than provided in paper or hard copy form.

Age Requirements

Renters and additional drivers must be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license and a major credit card issued in their own name.


Insurance

All renters must carry full coverage insurance to be eligible for a rental. Almost all insurance providers will transfer your current coverage from your vehicle to our vehicle, regardless of the model/year of your car. We will verify each renter’s insurance to guarantee a reservation. Buckhead Auto Rentals LLC does not sell or provide any rental insurance packages. In the event of any loss or damage to the car, regardless of fault, your financial responsibility extends to the full value of the car at the time of rental, less its salvage value, plus expenses for towing, storage, impound fees, an administrative fee, and a reasonable charge for loss of use. Your responsibility for theft of the car shall not exceed the reasonable costs incurred by Buckhead Auto Rentals LLC for loss due to theft up to its fair market value, if it is established that you or any authorized operator failed to exercise reasonable care or aided or abetted in the theft.


Driver’s License

An acceptable, valid driver’s license issued in your state of residence must be presented at the time of rental. The driver’s license must be valid for the entire rental period. If the driver’s license is in a language other than English, an international driver’s permit is recommended and must be accompanied by a valid driver’s license issued from your home country. You will not be allowed to rent with only an international driver’s permit. The renter's driver's license country MUST match the point of sale of the product reserved. If not, the correct point of sale product will be applied at the time of rental, which may incur additional charges.


Payment

All payments must either be made through the Buckhead Auto Rentals LLC website or the client will be sent a link where they can complete the payment. Buckhead Auto Rentals LLC accepts most major credit/charge cards. Cash is an acceptable form of payment at the time of rental; however, the security deposit must be paid on a major credit/charge card. Acceptable charge cards include American Express, MasterCard, Discover, Visa, BankAmericard, and Optima Amex. Credit cards must have available credit for the estimated amount of rental charges plus the security deposit to secure the rental. At the time of rental, you will need to present: 1) A current driver’s license, 2) A valid credit or charge card in the renter’s name, and 3) Proof of full coverage insurance. (Note: A confirmation of your reservation does not mean that your debit/check card is acceptable to Buckhead Auto Rentals LLC).


Local Renters

All local customers residing within the state are welcome to rent any vehicle of choice. There are no restrictions for local renters. Customers must have proof of full coverage insurance covering injury to third persons or their property, as well as collision and comprehensive insurance covering any Buckhead Auto Rentals LLC vehicle while on rent. If the Buckhead Auto Rentals LLC agent is unable to verify proof when calling the insurance company, the rental transaction will be declined.


Delivery & Return

Buckhead Auto Rentals LLC offers multiple vehicle delivery options as specified on our website. You are welcome to pick up the vehicle from our local office free of charge. Alternatively, we offer delivery and return services throughout Georgia, Alabama, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee. If the delivery or return location is more than 6 miles from our office, a fee will be charged. Contact us for delivery rates to your desired location.


Rental Duration

All rentals are billed in 24-hour/1-day windows. A 1-day rental from Saturday at 9:00 AM will require the vehicle to be returned on Sunday at 9:00 AM. We grant a 1-hour grace period for all rentals, after which an hourly charge of $100 is billed. Any rental that exceeds 3 hours after the scheduled return time will be billed an extra day unless a waiver is granted.


Rental & Security Deposit Refunds

Refunds of your deposit or any other funds owed to you are posted by Buckhead Auto Rentals LLC upon the close of your contract when you return the vehicle. However, depending on your financial institution, it may take up to 10 days to process.


Traveling Outside Georgia

Buckhead Auto Rentals LLC vehicles must not be driven outside of Georgia without prior approval.


Additional Driver

Additional authorized operators can be added at the time of rental or at any Buckhead Auto Rentals LLC rental location. The primary renter and each additional authorized operator must be present to sign the rental agreement and must meet normal rental qualifications, such as showing a valid driver’s license and meeting all age requirements. Additional driver fees: $50.00 per day for each additional authorized operator.


Smoking Policy

All vehicles in the Buckhead Auto Rentals LLC fleet are non-smoking rental cars. Cleaning fees will be charged if a vehicle is returned in a condition that requires cleaning and deodorizing due to being smoked in. Smoking in any Buckhead Auto Rentals LLC vehicle may also result in the loss of the rental deposit.


Cancellation

You must cancel more than 24 hours in advance, or you will be charged a minimum of one day’s rental charges plus taxes and appropriate fees.
